A few simple precautions to keep us all safe…

The Scottish Oven Repair Company remains open for business and, in line with Covid 19 latest government guidelines, we are continuing to take precautionary measures to help protect both your family & mine. 😊

Below are the precautions we are taking so we can all keep safe.

  • Prior to arrival we would ask that you sanitise all work areas within 1meter of your oven, inc a wipe down of the outside of the oven itself to ensure the area is as “safe” as possible.


  • On arrival, we will always wear a mask & a fresh pair of gloves & will restrict areas we touch to a minimum. If possible we would prefer to use a back-door nearest the kitchen


  • Whilst working on your oven, we will always respect the “social distancing” rules and would ask the same in return.


  • We will use clean & fresh covers as standard to protect your floors, etc. and will only use these once. They are not reused until they have been completely cleaned. 🧺


  • Once the repair is complete we will disinfect all areas we have worked in & around (and would recommend you do the same again as we leave). We won’t take offence if you start disinfecting as we leave..! 🧼


  • All repairs are guaranteed & so we write a full receipt. Some customers have preferred an emailed version rather than a paper copy, an added precaution.


  • If you have anyone at home who is at a higher risk, we would prefer that they be kept away from the kitchen for their own peace of mind & yours.

SPECIAL NOTE – If you do have anyone in your home who shows symptoms PLEASE do let us know in advance so we can rearrange the repair for as soon as your quarantine is lifted.
